Mark & I are the proud new owners of this bad boy! One of the perks of attending a bowl game are the bowl gifts and this lovely recliner is ours!!
Seems like a pretty freakin' random gift, but I'm not complaining!!

Counting down the days until Signing Day!

I'm not gonna lie..I'm getting pretty freakin' excited about our trip to New Orleans! This past week we had a wives meeting to discuss all of our activities and plans. This trip is going to be first class all the way and I can not wait! They even passed out our Sugar Bowl Notebooks...which is so funny :) It has our itinerary, dress code, directions, all kinds of stuff in it. Speaking of dress code, what does "proper dressy attire" mean? Here are just some of the fun things we will be doing:
Emeril's Delmonico Restaurant
Bon Ton Cafe
K-Paul's
We are going to be in a PARADE!! This day will be interesting we will start off at 9:30 AM at Pat O'Brien's, decorate parasols and then participate in the parade. This will definitely be interesting.
Back to "proper dressy attire" this is our attire for the parade day...who the heck dresses up for a parade unless your the prom queen. It actually states "proper dressy attire/comfortable shoes recommended" which is an oxymoron if you ask me.

Happy Holidays!

A few of our decorations:

I'm pretty sure I have holiday coasters for every holiday :) 1st time building a gingerbread house. The windows were the hardest part...which is why they are sagging.
The theme of our trees is snow flakes. Which is slightly odd because I have never really seen snow & I don't think I would really enjoy it either. I hate being cold. Ha!

Home Sweet Home

Friday night I went to my sister high-school soccer game.
Not quite sure why the pictures below turned out so dark. Enjoy!

She's the Goalie. Mandarin 2 Sandlewood 0. Yay, they won! Modeling her new Snuggie.

Saturday, we headed to my mom's work to visit their Festival of Trees. Below are a few of my favorites. In case you can't tell..this is supposed to be a person laying down in a beach chair. My favorite! The dog rescue group's tree. Doggie Angel on top! Close up: I love how they spray painted Milk Bones and hung them from the tree! All the dogs featured on the tree are dogs that they have found homes for this year :) My Mom's Tree! Gone Fishin'

Chocolate Dipped Ritz Crackers

Seriously, the easiest and yummiest cookies to make!

1 box Ritz crackers
1 jar peanut butter
1 pkg. chocolate coating (follow pkg. directions for melting)

Put peanut butter between 2 Ritz crackers. Dip sandwich in chocolate. Let set on wax paper. To quicken hardening, place in freezer for a few minutes.

They taste very similar to a Girl Scout Tagalog cookie.

It is official...I'm am going to the Sugar Bowl with the team and I couldn't be more excited!! Maybe me & Teebs can sit by each other again..because we are BFF. We haven't been told much about the trip. All I know is we are leaving the 27th and staying in a fabulous hotel. Counting down the days!

I had a few people ask me..Yes, Tebow was actually shirtless the reason why is because after practice he has wear this huge ice pack on his throwing shoulder. I'm sure he doesn't typically eat dinner in public shirtless. :)

As far as the SEC Game...it wasn't pretty. Sugar Bowl here we come!! Love you, Gators.

The Encounter

Every Thursday night during the season they have a team dinner that staff and their families are invited too. Well guess who sat at our table in the chair right next to ME...TIM FREAKIN TEBOW!! I almost died. Here's a recap of the night: Mark & I get to dinner and get our food (Sonny's BBQ) and sat down to eat. We were talking to the players at our table and in walks Tebow (topless) and he places all of his stuff on OUR table meaning he was going to eat at OUR FREAKIN TABLE. I immediately go into panic mode because I am almost done with my food so I begin to eat as slow as possible. I'm talking I was eating the baked beans, bean by bean. Meanwhile Tebow is taking his precious time to get his food..geez doesn't he know I am waiting for him?!? Mid conversion with the other players (aka trying to milk my time until Teebs gets to the table) I begin to say "Have you guys seen that really big guy that plays for Bama?" and out of nowhere Tebow goes "Who?" I almost died...what are you talking to ME?? Asking me a question. Deer in headlight moment..I just sat there and went blank. I could not remember the players name for the life of me. My one chance to talk to TIM FREAKIN TEBOW and I failed. So he finally sits down at our table and I have pretty much licked my plate clean and I'm trying to think of ways to stay for just a little bit longer...DUH! Ice cream..it's the coldest day of the year here and for whatever reason the Blue Bell Ice Cream Vendor is here passing out ice cream...so I took one for the team and got ice cream so I could sit next to Teebs for a few more minutes. :) The End.

Super Superstitious

Today is my Friday..yay! I am starting to panic about what to pack for my trip to Atlanta. I'm starting to freak myself into believing that I need to wear the exact same outfit that I wore for last year's SEC Game. I keep telling myself that my outfit isn't going to make or break the game...uggh. Mark has worn the SAME away Gameday outfit for Gator Walk for the past 2 seasons...so I'm feeling the pressure to do the same. Dang it. I have already informed my Dad that we are doing the exact same thing as last year; staying at the same hotel, eating at the same restaurants, going to the same bar and we are even sitting in the same section at the game...
