San Diego: Day 2

We started Day 2 with a Whale Watch.  This tour was the perfect amount of time and we got to see plenty of marine life.

The dolphins were my absolute favorite! There were hundreds if not thousands of them. They "played" along with the boat as we searched for whales.  They were so close to the boat.  It was a very cool experience.

After our whale watch we headed to The Hotel Del. We took the ferry to Coronado.  Which is another great way to see the city from the water.  The only mistake we made was deciding not to rent bikes to ride to the hotel.  We didn't realize that the hotel wasn't right at the dock. We decided to walk the 1.5 miles to The Del.  It wasn't a huge deal, but if I had to do it again we would have rented bikes.

I was amazed at how many people were at the hotel.  Thousands of people.  It was pretty nuts.
