Pretty lame post coming your way...get excited! As I said before our house wasn't exactly move in clean. And apparently Bailey felt the need to leave his mark as well. The first night in our new home Bailey decided to christen the carpet. Frantically the next morning I ran to the store and that's when I discovered this gem. I told you this would be an awesome post. Needless to say, it removed Bailey's "mark." It also removed tons of other stains that had been there who knows how long. It amazing stuff. I have gone through an entire bottle in one month. So for all you dog owners or parents or people with dirty carpet..go check this out.

Pretty Little Liars

I'm not a big reader. I can't even remember the last time I really enjoyed reading a book. I typically only read books when I am flying and that is still very rare. My co worker recently introduced me to the book series, Pretty Little Liars. She raved about how addicting they were. I was convinced I wouldn't like the books. I was wrong. They are addicting and I can't stop reading. I am on book three and can't wait to figure out how the series ends. If you are the anti reader like me or just want an easy read, you should check this series out.

Lately, I have been considering joining a gym. That alone deserves a round of applause. I do not work out. I always say if I got as much exercise as my dog I would look like Tim Tebow. Seriously, Bailey is ripped. All jokes aside I need to start working out. I have no more excuses and my arm flab is getting out of control. Today I toured the local YMCA. Which is a big step in my world. There were so many people there. Is it asking too much to join a gym with zero members?? Honestly, I have no clue how to work out which is why I would like no one to be there to watch me make a fool out of myself. To be continued...

Soap Box Alert!

I can not stand people who do not reply back to emails, facebook messages, texts, etc. Besides the fact that it is just plain rude, it is also down right annoying. It is especially annoying when people reach out to you and pretend to be friendly and concerned with your life and then you never hear back from them again. Seriously, drop the crap. Don't reach out to someone and then never reply back to them. The end.

A few observations....

In case you are keeping track I am in fact still unpacking. 2 more rooms left!

Below are a few observations I have made while living in the great state of Ohio:

1. Slippers are a must! They totally help keep you warm. It is also important that they have a rubber/waterproof sole so you are able to wear them outside.
2. Sunglasses..or lack of them. I have seen a grand total of 5 people (including myself) wearing sunglasses. Granted the sun isn't out all that often but there is still a glare. Which drives me crazy. I can't stand driving without my shades.
3. I am dehydrated all the time. Even Bailey is dehydrated. He drinks so much water now. Which why #1 is important. ;)
4. Lotion. I need to invest in some really nice lotion. My skin looks like it has aged 20 years.
5. My staple wardrobe item has been my down puffer jacket. Also key is to have a removable hood.
6. Lastly, I am a sucker for Bath & Body Works soap. Love them! However, the moisturizing hand soap vs the gentle foaming hand soap is clutch. Moisturizing helps with the old lady hands I am currently experiencing.

Happy Friday!

Indoor Chuckit!

A big concern of mine when planning our move was how in the world was Bailey going to get enough exercise so he didn't drive me insane. You see, he requires a lot of attention. He is obsessed with his tennis balls. I knew, I wasn't going to be jumping up and down with excitement to stand outside in the freezing cold temperatures to throw his beloved tennis ball. Problem solved: Chuckit! Indoor Launcher. This truly has be a life saver. While I obviously can't throw it as far since we are inside, it definitely does the trick. If you are like me and stuck inside with a ball obsessed dog you should check out this product.

Greetings from Ohio!

Yay, for making it to Ohio safely! We made a few stops along the way and I will post those soon. It took me one full week to unpack the downstairs and I am slowly making my way upstairs. The house wasn't exactly clean so that has made the process even longer. I had to wipe out every single drawer and clean all the baseboards. Fun times. Besides unpacking I have been slowly discovering our new city. Here's a look at what our first week was like. Good times...
Day 1: I decided to be the excellent dog mom that I am and take Bailey to the soccer fields near our house and throw the ball for him. What started as a great way for him to burn some energy ended with one muddy dog and one very frustrated mom. Did I mention we have no hose, no cups, no nothing to clean him with?! It was awesome. I attempted to bath him with my travel soap container. Which holds approximately a half cup of water. Try bathing a 70 lb dog with a tiny half cup of water. It is awesome. After realizing this wasn't going to work I ran up to the store to buy an extremely large cup and dog shampoo.
Day 2: I got locked out of the freaking house with no cell phone!! It was awful. I tracked down one of our neighbors (whom I had never seen or spoke to before) and our conversation went a little something like this:
Me- Excuse me, I am locked out of my house. Can I borrow your phone to call my husband.
Neighbor- Sure. Hands me his phone.
Me- Well, I don't exactly know his phone number. Do you think you can go inside and google his office number for me?
Neighbor- Okay. He went inside for awhile probably hoping I would leave.
Awesome way to meet your neighbors. I am currently still paranoid to leave our house in fear that I will lock myself out again.
Day 3: We finally got our furniture!! Up until this point we had an air mattress and the stairs as our only furniture. I also heard my first tornado practice drill. No one told me Ohio had tornadoes. Awesomeness. At first I had no idea what was going on. All I could hear was someone talking on what appeared to be a loud speaker. My first thought..it was God. Ha. Day 3 was also Signing Day.
Day 4: More unpacking.
Day 5: I went to my first ever wrestling match. OSU vs Michigan. I had no clue what was going on but it was pretty entertaining. High light of the match (besides OSU winning) the coaches yelling at each other. This must be normal because no one seemed to care this was happening, except me.
Day 6: Somehow I convinced Mark to attend the OSU Synchronized Swimming Meet. It wasn't as entertaining as I thought it would be. We only saw the trios perform. Did you know that synchronized swimmers put unflavored gelatin in their hair?? It basically looked like snot in their hair. It was odd..weird..gross..but apparently gets the job done.

P.s. I am posting from my phone. Our internet won't be working for another few weeks. Please excuse any grammar errors. Happy Thursday!
